A REQUEST TO MAINTAIN PRIVACY WITH MY PHONE NUMBER

For those of you with whom I've shared my number, I request not to share it with anyone, without my notice. I had changed my number almost a year ago, due to various privacy issues. I had shared my new number with some specific people, who actually mattered to me, and with the ones, with whom I thought I won’t have to regret for sharing. If you’re one among that list, you know it pretty well, that this number has been registered on WhatsApp, which when shared with wrong people, breaches my privacy, even more. The previous year, when I had changed my number and shared my new number, I had requested not to share it with anyone, although it was shared by some of you unintentionally. I would have been all fine with sharing my number if the relay ritual wasn’t followed after that. I mean, I share it with a person I trust, but it ends up reaching a masked guy, who intends to hurt me. I remember when I got my first number registered, a few years back. I had shared it like a fool, literally everywhere, and to be honest, I had to regret it for a long time, until I got my number switched. So basically, I don’t want to experience that moment of regret again. Now it's up to you, whether you want to accept it as a part of my maturity, or you consider it a rude way of isolating oneself. Also, I have a request for my WhatsApp contacts. Please don’t add me to any groups, without my knowledge, no matter what the reason is. It's not just because my WhatsApp has a way more professional use, than you may ever imagine, but also because of the privacy breach issue. The one who is a rose to you might be a thorn to me, and you never know when I’m going to get pricked by them. Also, you know that it is a fact that when you’re a member of a pretty active group, you receive way more messages, as compared to your usual one to one conversation chats, and to be very frank, I am still not used to reading hundreds of messages, at the end of every single day. That might seem rude, but at the moment of writing this, I find no alternate way of sharing this with you. I’ve just added myself to a few groups, where I feel safe and do not have to bother about privacy. At last, I would like to conclude by saying that I never intend to talk so strictly with anyone, but when it comes to my privacy, I do not have any other option than to get a bit serious. Hope you guys understand and cooperate with me.
